Cookie policy

Which cookies Ammunition sets, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change or withdraw your choices.

Your choices

Nothing but the strictly necessary cookies below is set until you tell us it's alright. You can change your mind at any time, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out of advertising and honour it automatically — you don't need to do anything else. The preferences panel will tell you when we've detected one.

Our record of your choice

When you make a choice we keep a record of it, because the law requires us to be able to show that consent was actually given. That record holds a random reference number, the choices you made, the version of this notice you were shown, your country, and the date. It does not hold your IP address, your name, or anything else that identifies you.

We keep those records for visitors in the UK, the EEA, and the US states whose laws require it. We hold them under our legal obligation to demonstrate compliance rather than under your consent, which is why a record exists even when you reject everything.

The reference number is stored in the ammo_consent cookie in your browser. If you want to see or delete the record we hold, send us that number and we'll find it. Without it we have no way to connect any record to you — which is the point of storing it that way.

We use cookies to measure how the site is used and to support our advertising. You can accept everything, reject everything, or choose what's on. Read our Cookie Policy.
